33. Protests

33.1 All protests relating to the Victorian Volleyball League competition shall be handled in accordance with the “Victorian Volleyball League Dispute and Procedures Flow Chart” in Appendix G.


33.2 All protests during a match shall be resolved using the "On the Spot Protest Resolution Procedure" in Appendix H.


33.3 A protest can only be made by the game captain by notifying the 1st referee whilst the ball is out of play.


33.4 The resolved outcome of the protest is final.


33.5 If the protest procedure takes longer than ten (10) minutes, a five (5)-minute warm-up may be requested by either captain and must be granted if requested.
