28. Incomplete Teams & Late Start of Match

28.1 If one or both teams are deemed incomplete at the Official Start Time, the match will be declared a late start.  As soon as one team is considered complete:

• If one or both teams are ready to take to the court within 15 minutes after the Official Start Time, the match must commence immediately and any team (or teams) not taking the court shall receive a Late Start Penalty as set out in Appendix B. The referee shall inform the team (or teams) receiving the penalty as well as note the penalty on the scoresheet and match report.
• If one or both teams are not ready to take the court within 15 minutes after the Official Start Time, the offending team or teams shall be deemed to have forfeited that match and will be penalised a Forfeit Penalty as set out in Appendix B with the results applied to the Teams in accordance with By-Law 9.1.
