20.1 Victorian Volleyball League Clubs may move players between competitions at any time subject to By-Law 19.
20.1.1 Teams can demote up to two (2) players per team to next immediate lower level of competition.
20.1.2 Unlimited players can be promoted throughout the season subject to player transfer rules outlined in By Laws 16 .
20.1.3 Age eligible players can move from Premier League and State League competitions into Junior Premier League and Youth State League throughout the season.
20.1.4 If a Club has multiple teams entered in a competition the maximum number of player relegations between the corresponding lower competition does not multiply by the number of teams the Club has entered in that competition.
20.1.5 No player may be relegated by more than one competition level between Victorian Volleyball League rounds.
20.1.6 A Club is only permitted to demote a player or players beyond the limits of By-Law 19.1.2 where VV provides its permission in writing. The Club must apply in writing to VV for approval no less than 72 hours prior to the scheduled start time of the match in question using the online form on the Victorian Volleyball League website. VV has sole discretion to either grant or deny permission.
20.2 There is no limitation as to how many competition levels a player is promoted between nor is the player required to be promoted one (1) competition at a time.
20.3 If a Club have multiple teams entered in the same competition, a player is only permitted to participate in games where they are listed on the squad list at the start of the season. Players are not permitted to be listed on multiple lists within the same competition.
20.4 Players that have been promoted or demoted are still subject to all transfer restrictions as per By-Law 15.
